Backup my stuff:
Whether you want to back up your stuff to a local hard drive, or back it up online – we can help. We can show you techniques for using free backup services for small amounts (up to 2Gb) or a paid service for automatically backing up large amounts of data.
Recover my data – Basic:
Do you have a “boot disc” error? Or does your computer just not launch into the operating system? When your hard drive crashes and you are unable to read from it, we will take it away, and recover as much information as possible to return to you. Hard drive recoveries are only successful when the hard drive can still spin and there is no hardware damage. Please be aware that we will supply you with the recovered data only, and not reinstall the system. Should you need a reinstall, please see below. Off Site service only.
Recover my data and reinstall my system:
As well as recovering the information off your drive, we will reinstall your operating system and common programs, as well as all drivers. We’ll transfer your files to the new system as well. Babeltech recommends reinstalling to a new hard drive, as initial hard drive corruption tends to be a symptom of problems with the hard drive itself. Babeltech warns that reinstalling to a damaged hard drive will not fix the overall problem, and corruption will most likely recur. Babeltech has competitive prices on new hard drives – just ask us to recommend a size for you! Off Site service only.
Recover my really badly destroyed hard drive (disaster recovery):
When your computer is damaged by fire, flood or other disasters, Babeltech will take your broken hard drive to forensic experts to recover as much data of it as possible. This service includes removal of the faulty or damaged components, extraction under clean room conditions of the hard drive platters (the area in which information is stored) and recovery using specialist forensic techniques. This service is lengthy, but can be provided at short notice for greater costs. Price is quoted on application only. No guarantee that all information is recoverable.
